Re: TULL TONIGHT!
Mon, November 14, 2005 - 12:48 PMWHAT AN AWESOME SHOW!
Every ticket-holder got a free CD, Aqualung Live. They played just about every song from Aqualung, along with several other well known songs. First set was mostly accoustic, and the second set got quite a bit harder and much more electric.
It was my first time seeing the Tull, and I have absolutely no reservations about seeing them again. In fact, I think I'll force myself next time I get the chance just so I can see them again whie I still can.
Awesome Show -

Re: TULL TONIGHT!
Mon, November 14, 2005 - 2:38 PMI wanted to dance so badly though.
A girl sitting behing my friend and me asked to toke my bowl. So we started including her in the rotation. I could tell she wanted to dance too. So at one point I got up and told her I was headed to the top dance(we were in the highest balcony section). Sure enough she followed.
After dancing for one song we went to the bottom of the balcony, which was quite a bit closer than our seats. The usher told us to stand against the wall. So we're jamming out, having fun. Sure enough, as soon as the song was over she asked us to take our seats. I was disappointed, but glad she at least let us stay there for one song.
It'd be nice to see them in a general admission show. -

Re: TULL TONIGHT!
Mon, November 14, 2005 - 3:17 PMHmm, I was a little lower down in the seating.
I wanted to toke up, but no one else around me was.
Fortunately, I got high as I was walking up to the show.
It was all so perfect, I really did'nt care that much.
It was a little too steep for anyone to dance and not block someone's view. I had to ask the chick in front of me to sit back, as she had a feathered 80's do that was blocking evryone's view behind her. She sat back for one song and then left and never came back.
We did some seat dancing during the second half though. -

Re: TULL TONIGHT!
Tue, November 15, 2005 - 7:53 AMYeah, the second half was exactly what got me seat-dancing. And when my fat ass seat-dances for too long, I've got to get up and move. I definitely wasn't about to dance at my seat and block anyone, which is why I want to the very top of the balcony against the back wall.
Toking at a concert never really worries me. I figure, as long as you're not blatent about it, you're cool.
I always opt for the bowl over the joint. Seems like continuous-smoke is a little more obtrusive and more likely to get you caught up. And in a venue like that, I'm usually the first one to blaze. I think about all the other folks, such as yourself, who want to smoke, but are unsure. So, I put it in the air and ease everyone's suffering. Sure enough, it never takes long for others who in desire to follow suit.
