So I got contacted by an old pal Tom Gogola, who is now editor for a Connecticut paper called the Fairfield Weekly--he wanted me to interview Ian Anderson on the phone. Who am I to say no?

Re: Interview with Ian from SF local
Tue, October 24, 2006 - 10:14 AMGreat interview, Kurt, thanks for posting!
I was at the Chicago "Orchestral Tull" performance at the Park West, and it was quite energetic and fun. What was really uplifting was to see the looks of joy on the faces of the young orchestra musicians as they got into it with Ian and troop.
Ian Anderson is truly a modern day Pied Piper, and it's great to see him continue to lead others (and himself) to new and renwed musical expressions.
